Acting 105

ACTING 105: PHYSICAL ACTING
Acting 105 is a new four-week class for students who’ve completed Acting 101-104 and would like to continue learning and practicing while developing their skills to the next level.
Our focus will be on physical acting – developing physical awareness and control through movement; learning the difference between silent and spoken acting; using props and objects to bring a new level of reality to our scenes; and improving our ability to stay in character while listening and responding to other actors. Exercises include group games and warm-ups, silent improv, and guided movement, performing short scenes, and performing a short monologue in front of the class.
This class is for ages 17 and older (or by permission of instructor). Instructor – Nils Osmar
